Guko is the younger brother of Rayo. The brothers are five years apart in age, yet share an unbreakable bond forged through tragedy: when they were just toddlers, their parents perished in a devastating earthquake that rocked their hometown. Their parent's bodies were never found amongst the rubble and they were shipped across the country to live with their step-uncle, Xan. Xan owned a martial arts dojo and trained various warriors for many years, however when the brothers showed up, he had already been retired for over 10 years. With his dojo closed to the public, he taught Guko and Rayo in secrecy when they grew up and it didn’t take him long to realize that there was something special about them. When their powers were unlocked, Xan experienced a vision much like the one that Leon had, showing him the horrifying past of the first invasion. Confused about what it all meant, the old sensei instructed his pupils to seek out a boy from the island known as Leon, and assist him with every ounce of their being. Guko is more of a strategist, using his intellect and sharp intuition to read people's movements and predict their next moves. Guko is a young man of few words and even fewer emotions, yet his loyalty to Rayo and Leon knows no bounds. He's often seen accompanying Rayo on their various missions, though he rarely speaks up during meetings or takes the lead in any situation. His reserved attitude masks a deep intelligence that serves him well when it comes to battle tactics and strategy. Despite being a skilled fighter, Guko prefers to take a backseat role so as not to draw attention away from his brother’s natural leadership abilities. This has earned him the respect of many of their allies who have come to rely on Guko for support in tough times. Also like Rayo, Guko has the ability to channel energy through his body in order to enhance his physical capabilities. This allows him to perform incredible feats of strength such as lifting heavy objects and running at superhuman speeds. His knowledge of various martial arts styles makes him even more dangerous when it comes to close-quarters combat, as he can quickly switch between different techniques on the fly depending on the situation.
